felony respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page tells you how to report copyrighted material that appears on a felony profile without authorisation, and how we respond to those reports.
Filing a notice of infringement
If you are the rights-holder (or authorised to act on their behalf) and believe a felony profile is hosting or linking to material that infringes your copyright, send us a notice containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on felony (e.g.
https://fakefelony.lol/username). - Your full name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
Where to send it
Email the complete notice to the DMCA address listed on our Contact page. Notices missing any of the elements above may be rejected or delayed.
Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you can file a counter-notice. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL it appeared at.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts and will accept service of process from the complaining party.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive repeated, substantiated infringement notices will be terminated in accordance with applicable law and our Terms of Service.
Bad-faith claims
Filing a knowingly false DMCA notice may subject the filer to liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees under applicable law. Please make sure your claim is accurate before submitting.
