Terms of Service

Welcome to felony (fakefelony.lol, “we”, “us”, “the service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use felony. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Usernames are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and may be reclaimed by us if an account is inactive, impersonates a third party, or violates these terms.

2. Content you post

You retain ownership of the text, links, images, audio, and other material you upload. By posting content to felony you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, cache, display, and distribute it solely to operate the service.

You are solely responsible for everything that appears on your page, including:

• Links that you add (and the destinations they point to).
• Uploaded or embedded media.
• Text, bios, display names, and usernames.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use felony to create, post, or link to content that:

• Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, reported to authorities.
• Threatens, harasses, doxxes, or incites violence against a person or group.
• Sells, advertises, or directs users to illegal goods or services.
• Distributes malware, phishing pages, or deceptive redirects.
• Infringes intellectual property that isn't yours to use.
• Impersonates another person or organisation in a misleading way.
• Attempts to circumvent rate limits, scrape, or overwhelm our infrastructure.

4. Enforcement

We may suspend, hide, or remove any profile or link that we reasonably believe violates these terms, at our sole discretion and typically without prior notice where a violation is clear. Appeals can be sent to the email on our Contact page.

5. Paid features

Some features may be offered on a paid basis. Prices, features, and billing cadence are described at point of purchase. Paid features are non-refundable except where required by law. Your account remains usable on the free tier if a subscription ends.

6. Availability & changes

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to give notice of material changes that affect you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, felony is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We can terminate or suspend your access at any time for a breach of these terms. Content may be retained for a reasonable period after termination for legal and audit purposes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's primary place of business. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts there unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
