Safety & Community Guidelines
Last updated · April 2026
felony is a space for people to express themselves on a single, personal page. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who uses it, and how we enforce those expectations. They apply on top of the Terms of Service.
Our principles
- Be yourself. Impersonation and deceptive identity claims are not allowed.
- Don't harm others. Threats, harassment, and doxxing have no place here.
- Respect consent. Intimate imagery shared without consent is removed on sight.
- Be honest about what you're linking to. No phishing, malware, or deceptive redirects.
Zero-tolerance content
The following is removed immediately and results in a permanent ban:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualises minors in any way. Reported to authorities.
- Credible threats of violence or incitement of terrorism.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Sale of illegal goods (weapons, controlled substances, stolen data, etc.).
Not allowed
- Harassment, targeted abuse, or hate speech directed at a person or protected group.
- Pornographic content on profiles without an appropriate 18+ gate and platform-safe hosting upstream.
- Content glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Phishing, malware, drive-by downloads, and cryptocurrency scams.
- Mass-creation of accounts, automated traffic, or circumventing rate limits.
- Impersonating another person, brand, or public figure in a way likely to mislead.
Reporting
Every public profile has a Report button. Use it to flag content you believe breaks these guidelines. Include a short reason — it helps us triage. You can also email us via the Contact page for serious or time-sensitive issues.
We prioritise reports involving imminent risk of harm, CSAM, and non-consensual intimate imagery.
How we enforce
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Quietly hide a link or asset from public view.
- Unpublish a profile (the URL serves a 404) until issues are fixed.
- Issue a warning with a chance to remediate.
- Permanently ban the account and block associated identifiers.
We err on the side of keeping people safe. If you think an action was taken in error, you can appeal via the contact page.
If you're being harmed
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not a crisis service. For online harassment and doxxing targeting your felony page, report the offending account and email us — we can fast-track those reviews.
Law enforcement
Valid legal process from a competent authority should be sent to the address on our Contact page. We respond to lawful requests and preserve data when required to do so.
